Thank you Oldmics,
That is the money shot for sure.It sure is odd though the hole in the rod that fits around the shoulder bolt is much larger than the bolt. Would seem they would have also made the hole round without the flat spot.I will order the washers I am missing and call it good. Again thanks a bunch for the help on this one.

When its off the car (as both of ours are now) the pedal has much more travel and the spring can pop off.

As for the 7525 bolts - those are in the new pictures.

Thanks Mic,
Both the clutch rod ends part 7525. what keeps them as a tight fit? the shoulder bolt is much smaller than the holes also the same with 7521. Yes the big assist spring and bracket also look like they would need some type of clip or bushing to hold them securely on their posts.
Thanks again...

If you need clairification on those smaller parts, let me know exactly what you need to see and I can post that up.

Funny as I did not realize that I did not have the pedal return spring until I looked at the pictures. I'm sure its around here somewhere.

That's all off my 3 speed (no O.D. ) "E" Bird that I"m restoring.

Oldcarmark.  Oldmics' pictures were great.  Your suggestion of Gary using the '49-'59 Ford Illustrations Catalog as a reference guide is an excellent thought, too!   Smile

Old Mics,
Thanks so much for taking the time to dig the parts out and photo ,comparing to what I have it looks like I have everything. I am having issues with the rod connections at the bolts, the rods have a much larger hole and a flat spot on mine that don't match the shoulder bolts. I see they sell a square looking washer that rides on the side of the rod but what takes up the slack around the larger hole? Also I have a spring and Z shaped bracket with an adjusting bolt for the clutch assist, also appears to fit very loose with none keepers over a mushroom shaped pin sticking out side of pedal assembly. When attached per book view and pedal depressed the spring goes slack and then falls off. However its good to know I have mostly all the major parts on hand.
