I Posted this on the Hamb also, but thought this might be a better place

My Engine (292) had after market oil & temp gauges that I have removed. These were the cheap types with a plastic tube coming from the engine for oil pressure & a mechanical engine temperature gauge.
I'd like to be sure where the senders should go before I replace them with original types?
I can't seem to find that info in my manual, so thought I'd ask here.
The oil pressure sender installed is between the fuel pump & road draft tube.
The replacement sender appears to be too large to fit in that area. Is that the right place for it?
The temp sender is in the intake manifold at the rear driver's side.
Any help is sure appreciated
Thanks
Jim
