Just checked out the Vintage Air catalog and as you said they offer a Y Block alt/AC bracket and aluminum double groove pulley that is required with their systems. They don't include any prices in their catalog, but I'm not there yet anyway. Thanks for the tip Bob! Rono

Thanks Bob. I am using a GM 1 wire in my 56 Customline and just bought another for the wife's Ranch Wagon. So this Vintage (Air) bracket is a combination bracket for the compressor and alternator? If so, that's GREAT! Rono

Rono maybe...the way it is set up there is one betlt for the alternator, the second runs the water pumpand air conditioner, the last is for the power steering. Vintage does have a Y-block bracket for cars that is just what you are asking for. It is part number 15114-VFB. FYI the Vintage brackets are set up for GM alternators and not Ford. Ask me how I know.

There is an outfit in Texas that makes a cast combination alternator/AC bracket. Don't remember the name right now. Someone here should know.
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Vintage Air lists part number 131109 for the T-bird Y-block bracket. Only it is for the 507 compressor. I used there 131111 on my Y-block for my truck. It mounts the compressor below the alternator and needs a 3-groove crank pulley. All of this info is on page 70 of their catalog.

I've sent a request for information on the bracket. It's not listed separately in their catalog.

Using a SD Sanden 508 compressor with a two groove pulley. Thinking about making a bracket if I can't find one.

Might try classic auto air. I used their bracket, for one of their kits in my (12v) 55. Used the stock gen bracket with an adaptor for the alternator. Drives the alt and compressor off the same belt. I wasn't happy with that, but slipping has not been a problem. Don't know what they might part out. http://www.classicautoair.com
