Talkwrench, for every story like yours there is one about the frame breaking. That Hemi is no V-6. The weight and torque alone would justify boxing the frame. IMHO.

Nobody makes boxing plates for a 28 Chrysler so they were all cut to fit. I'm also looking into re-drilling the axles to 4.5". Much cheaper way to go. I may eventually upgrade the axles but not now. I bought some adapters but they turned out to be metric studs and nuts so I'm returning them. Would have been a temporary fix anyway. Chuck
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Can you re-drill the axles to 5x4.5, much easer to find wheels.
