Not quite sure what you mean regarding the "gauge ceiling" - so I don't know how to respond.
Tranny is a beefed T85 from Bill Stropes shop who originally did all of the M 335 builds.

What was the gauge ceiling Merc used for the Turnpike Cruiser distributor driven mechanical tach?

What manual transmission are you using behind the M 335 engine?

Lincoln did not use the M 335 setup. It was a 1957 Mercury only option. It will fit on the Lincoln since they both use the 368 engine.

The setup that you show only has the intake manifold as a correct part from the M 335 setup. The M 335 used Holley carbs.

I have the correct reproduction air cleaners for the M 335 setup that go ontop of the correct Holly carbs if interested.

they are the same engine except for the intake and valve comers. the 335 setup was for the 57 merc. for nascar.
