*NOT MINE*
Found this on another site:
http://orlando.craigslist.org/pts/4954381727.htmlI think it might be a decent deal for someone closer
I was interested so I asked some questions.
Looked them up and they seem reputable. Hate to see a shop lose a bunch of money on a bum deal so I posted my results here
Freight, distance, and time since rebuild kind of killed it for me, I have been told it is really easy to wipe a cam if it sits too long between rebuild and break-in.

This engine came into our shop in Feb 2009 for a complete rebuild. It was bored out .040 & diamond honed, fitted with new pistons & rings, resized rods, ground crank with new rod & main bearings, new camshaft & lifters, re-manufactured heads, new timing, new oil pump & all new gaskets. This 292 came out of a 1964 F100. The owner never came back to claim his engine. It is sitting on a pallet still wrapped in plastic.
---and---
The engine has never been run, It came out of our engine room after the rebuild, we spin test all our engines to record compression, set valve lash & record oil pressure. It is dressed with the oil pan, valve covers, intake manifold & the water pump. We do not have the flywheel or distributor.
I am prepared to let it go for $1600
