Hi Everybody
I am new to the forum, but not to y-blocks.  John M actually built me a killer 330ci road race motor 15 years ago---still has the dyno results on his website.

I am in desperate need of a set of aluminum Mummert heads.  I've spoken with John and am aware of the production delays.  If there is a finished set sitting on you bench waiting for your project or you may have lost interest in using these heads ----CALL ME PM ME.  Please.  I'm not looking for a deal.  I need a set of heads---now.  Also rockers and stands.  But the heads are the key

Call anytime...my cell number is 408-888-9541

Thanks in advance

For those who discount Y blocks when is the last time someone flew in same day to get a set of heads.

Thanks for helping us out, Ted.  I'm happy it worked out for all of us.  It was a pleasure.

Yes, in the link you attached, it's going into the first T-bird pictured.  I was in Doane's shop in Cayucas when he built it.  Actually when he built both.  It was an honor to have known him.  The valve seats in the heads he modified just got too old....they'll be put on the shelf and used as an example of the man's genius as a fabricator.....

Not y-block related, but he also did some work on a race car of mine.........finally finished it a couple of years ago....see attachment

Again, thanks

Gary

Pleasure for me too, Ken (the guy in the plane) is a hoot, not sure he knows a Mummert head from a bobblehead but he said he didn't build motors. Maybe you can post here or link to a build site if you do that, the Y guys here love the rides, and the motor builds.  Glad to help.
