Thank you for the response. Almost 300 hp through '56 manifolds, I like it. Your cam choice is just a bit larger than I would have guessed, but it's nice to see how it all worked together. Can't wait till I'm able to spend some money at John's candy store! -Dave.

When you are ready, talk to John about what you want to use the car for. Initially John was going to recommend a larger cam for my motor, but because it is primarily used as a street car, he said that any wilder and I might not like it on the street! Cam he selected for me, should be good on the street and in traffic, but also have enough kick to keep Lon Argent (in Bob Martin's Merc) in my rear view mirror!!!  Wink

I love the smell of burning rubber in the morning!
