Yes, welcome Brian Arcand. Re what Seppo mentioned concerning our last name. Most Arcand's are distantly related thru the only known person of our name, who came from France to Quebec in about 1685.. But, that story isn't appropriate for this forum, so I'll leave it at that..

Welcome - Always liked Model A's. My first hot rod was a A roadster with a Boss 302 in it.

Welcome aboard! Always glad to see new members with interesting projects. The Y-Block Model A thing has been done by a number of our members so I'm sure you will get a lot of advice and information on how to accomplish it. Look forward to pictures of the job. Chuck
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I've stalked this site enough (google searches) gathering info and insight I figured I'd just go ahead and join. There definitely seems to be a lot of knowledge here.
My real name (not bglide73) is Brian Arcand and I live in central Indiana. I bought my first Y-block ('56-'57 312") a while back and plan to put this into my '30 5 window that I picked up over the summer. I've been much too busy (work) to make much progress on the build but this car has been a dream of mine for a long time so I guess I can take my time. I've waited this long!
I'll post pictures and more info ect. when I have more time.
Thanks for looking!
