O.K the former setup did have some minor glitches, but I could get the forum & so on to work.. Now I can't even get the catagories to open!. It just sits there & cycles. Can somebody explain this to a computer dummy with an old program. Mark mentions clearing history, but I'm not sure how to do that without possibly creating a disaster.. thanks

Jim:
When I move my mouse the cursor on the screen moves, and when I stop on something that I can read, a finger replaces the arrow, and when I click on that item, such as "Technical", it brings up the list of topics. I used to pick the topic I wanted to view, the finger replaced the arrow, I click and the topic is accessible. Now when I pick the topic, no finger, click on it and nothing happens. At that point the only thing that works on that screen is my "back" arrow at the top. I am only able to reach this particular topic is by clicking on the message on the upper right of the screen. I found that by accident yesterday. I'm dumfounded.

I know what you are talking about, John. The pointer turns in to a pointing hand when it is over a link or button. I don't know how to fix it, though. That is a general theme in web browsers. Does it work on other websites? If so, then clearing the cache, as was done last time might be worth a try but make sure your frequented websites user id's and passwords are written down before doing so because those will probabloy be cleared out.

I'm not sure how you were able to post a comment if you computer continues to cycle. That is what mine did until I cleared the History. This is a normal procedure and should not create a disaster and you should really do this regularly. It clears out a lot of garbage that can slow your computer down. You will have to log in to sites that you have previously logged in to automatically. That's why I keep a paper list of all my passwords. The browser you use to to access the Yblocks Forever Forum (I use Firefox) should have an item in the main menu at the very top of the page that says History. Click on it and select Clear all History. This should clear enough of the links associated with yesterdays version of the forum and open up a path to access today's forum. If you don't clear the history you computer is trying to link to yesterdays version which isn't there anymore. Don't fear change, embrace it. The new version is much better. Good luck.

Jim. Love the new look. And picture posting on my end looks to be fixed. I too had a problem initially in getting into the individual forums but deleting out the old history and cookies took care of that. I did have to go back into the ‘Browsing History’ popup window and uncheck the ‘save the passwords’ box as that particular one was keeping me from viewing the threads within the various forums. The forum now appears to be working well for me.

I was able to get to this discussion only by using the RSS feed and clicking on the "What's New" button @ the upper left of the screen. When I go to the other forums (Technical, Street) they won't open, all I get is an endlessly circling gizmo. Also don't see any option to log out/in.

OK THANKS TO lyonroad I GOT IT FIXED
THANKSI normally use firefox. I can't access the detail on the forums with this latest change. I usually log in at the point that the various main headings come up ( Tech, Street, Racing etc). When I click on either of those the individual items do not come up, all I get is a arrow that goes around and around.
I can access events, links etc okay
I know this happened when the new system went in and somebody told me how to fix it. Howevr, I don't rmember how, so can some one help me. Detail instructions please
I'm doing this now on AOL, which I only use when Firefox is not working.
Thanks
