Ewil,  The manifolds were blasted and then painted with Eastwood Factory Gray Hi-Temp cast iron manifold paint #10395Z . I have used this product with great success , lasts for years with only an occasional touch up.

Thanks a lot Pete. This gives me a much better idea of how things need to look. Where did you get your vacuum lines?

Thanks for the reply. The reason I'd like to see photos is so I could make it all look right instead of mickymousing something together.

While I did sell my ’57 Fairlane last year, I went through the pictures of the engine and my car did not have the vacuum assist for the wipers. The wipers were simply hooked directly to the vacuum port at the back of the intake manifold.  This particular car still had the factory installed 312 with the Carter 4V carb.  If this car had had the vacuum assist wipers originally, the lines and fuel pump were changed out long before I got the car.

Does anyone have photos or could take some photos of how the vacuum lines run from fuel pump to the manifold and wiper motor on a 57 Y-block? I finally installed a B manifold on my 56 and those lines were hooked up differently with the teapot. I'd like to hook up everything correctly and make it look right at the same time.
The only ones I could find on the web had all had the air cleaner in the way.
I'd really appreciate it
