Jim    The carb you need ECK. 9510-C LIST 1074 is for a 55 ford.i have one here with the manifold and might also have a spare,i will check tomorrow and let you know   Carl  Ohio

Jim  The other carb i have is a ECK 9510 T. LIST 1074-1 It is a  55 Carb but not sure which motor or car or t bird it came on.i dont have any manuals that have that info. Carl   Ohio

Here's some carb applications:

ECK-C.......'55 T-Bird, std and Od

ECK-H.......'55 pass with 182 HP special or '55 T-Bird with  FOM          

ECK-T.......'55 pass with 182 HP or '55 T-Bird no trans specified

Jim, the ECK-S on my truck we talked about on the phone is '55 Bird std and OD.

If you need teapot for a driver, contact Pony Carburetors, Las Cruces, NM. They are pricey, but will likely have a good core with the correct list #. It will also run better than any home rebuild, since they have the process down pat.
