I would think that 8.5 or so would be ok, maybe 8.  I could probably do a little bit of chamber work to get a few more cc's to maybe get 8.  I should be able to boost it plenty with 8.  I have been studying and looking at wastegates and blowoff valves, so I should be able to match that with a pair of Garrett or Airesearch turbos.  Everything I've looked at says T3 which is the small TurboCoupe T-Bird size units, but I'm thinking more of a T04E with the bigger compressor housing, but match a smaller turbine housing to it for faster spoolup.  Probably will wastegate it to 4 to 6 lbs boost to get it dialed in and tuned before I get greedy, lol.  The good thing about turbos is that, for the most part, the parts are out there to mix and match compressor and turbine parts to get what you want.  I'm still learning, and now, throwing the Y into the mix, the learning curve just went up.  It's all fun though.  Thanks for all of the great input..

Hopefully, I will be getting a block from Glen..will be talking to him this week.

Garret's website has a good tech section about the turbos.  They even give you the formulas to use to figure out which turbo will work best for a given combination.

That and the three Turbo forums I am a member of is where I have learned most of what I know.  Also, the book titled Turbocharging is a great resource.  That is where I learned to read the compressor maps and other items.  Most of the calculators I have tried lists the Garrett T3, but I want a more modern charger, hence the T04E. They were designed for small displacement 4 bangers, so two them should fill the bill nicely.  Still pondering right now though.  I plan to do this this summer, around June or so, so hopefully enough bugs will be worked out that I can bring the car to Columbus.  Can't wait to get started on it...
