As some of you fellas already know, my T-bird was mostly hole before I set out to make it viable, once again. This has created some obscure problems (mostly with relocating various things in the new sheetmetal) Well, here we go again. Can anyone tell me where the parking brake cable breaches the body and enters the inside of the car? The few clues I have, along with what seems logical, suggests right at the end of the cable housing where the 2 small brackets "sandwich" the end of the housing and bolt to the flat spot on the floor. I believe the actual hole through which the cable passes is actually more of a slot that runs 12:00 and 6:00. Does any of this jibe with anyone's recollections of what theirs looks like? I'm kinda hung here, so best guesses count. ~Thanks~ /Duck

There is a small horizontal surface with a hole through it about 5 to 6 inches up the firewall from the bottom of the floor pan. The hole is located within the bracket area that mounts the body to the chassis if you look from under the car.
