lyonroad (12/27/2013) Talking about Canadian hot rods. Yesteday I took a trip to Nanaimo B.C. to visit my sister. To make the 2 hr ferry trip go faster I picked up a copy of the latest Canadian Hot Rods magazine. Inside was a one page article on '56 Ford 2-door HT running a stroked (332ci) 312. The guy is from Kelowna B.C., were I was born and raised, and he used parts he got from John Mummert! Talk about your "6 degrees of separation". Nice to see a car magazine with the word "Y-Block" in the text. Canadian Hot Rods Magazine is a great mag put out by Terry Denomme! He covers all marks but I know he has a soft spot for Fords! He campaigns a 57 Ford Courier gasser, powered by a 500 + CUI Ford called "Ford Country". It is a replica of the original "Ford Country" raced by his father in the 60's/70's. Terry is a great guy and puts out a nice mag that shows great cars from north of the US boarder. I highly recommend it!

pegleg (12/25/2013) You mean the Moody Blues? Best rock group ever. You don't have REAL football there, just a bunch of guys running around kicking each other, or somethin'.I did notice that Iowa is up against LSU in the "Outback Bowl"
