I've had Diamondbacks on my '54 Merc for a couple of seasons and like them a lot. The handling is very predictable and gives a feeling of confidence when traveling at highway speeds in heavy traffic. Very quiet also. Diamondback's customer service was first rate; they went out of their way to get me my tires in time for a road trip and were very helpful answering questions. I would definitely buy from them again.

I have Diamondbacks on my 56. They are Cooper Tires which I like. I called them directly to ask if they could make the wide whites 1/4"-3/8" narrower than originals. They said they could do it at no extra charge. More of a 1960 wide white look which I like. I've had then for 2 years and have no complaints. Would buy again....Good Luck

I've had the Diamond backs for about a year...wide white radials...2nd set and am very happy with them. I just called them and talked to one of their people and he was very helpful. they seem very picky about how they are shipped and to NOT stack them. They have a very informative brochure and information on their web site. The first set I had I used the "bleachy White" cleaner which is a NO NO. The whitewalls got all "chalky" now I only use simple green and they stay looking great...I'll stick with Diamond Back..great customer service

You can buy Diamondbacks( no white walls) at K Mart .I just bought a set of wide whites from John Cain in Newcastle NSW .215 x 65 x 15 front & 245 x60 x15 rear .Rims are 6 in & 7 in OEM Chrome ,bought from Armadale Speed shop in WA. All up with freight $2400.00.

How do you find the diamond backs for high speed balance? We have kilometres hear and I've had mine up to 110, OOPS that's wright the speedo reads in mph.

Glad to hear good things about Diamondback's. Did some research awhile back on them and they seem to be the best option. You can get speed rated tires. Plan on getting them when I get my T-Bird back on the road.
