Geez Im a sucker I just couldn't pass up this little red convertible.. Much whining from the miss's ..
Tim my like this, I think he has one?
1961 Triumph Herald convertible .. This one is a little different as it has been legally fitted with a 2.5 lt 6 cylinder, everything on this one has been rebuild and had to go through ADR. [Australian design rules]
Drives very well, steering is so tight tho' the brakes should be better, but as the owner said they probably haven't even bedded in yet..Hes said it would not have even done 2000 miles since he built it all.
Just waiting now for the money to clear in his account and I should have it by the weekend

VERY nice and SUPER Clean! I had one of those SU carbs on the first Harley chopper I built in the early 70's.

That's an interesting dual brake mastercylinder set up.
I know the car looks nice, but it's a pommy jigger, so you are going to need a lot of spare time putting things back on as they fall off in the natural progression of their design

Hey go easy guys
at least in those days we could call them our own
nowadays the auto industries here are owned by the Indians Chinese Germans and Japanese
the utillities are like wise in foreign ownership thanks to our useless politicians

Talkie, Tim's does not have a TR6 engine. My TR doesn't either, has a Ford 3.0 V6.
