I thought it would be neat to share some old images I've scanned from magazines that I own in addition to pictures I've came across on the internet over the years. I have a few hundred magazines so if there is any interest in these old pics I'll post more as I get time. Feel free to add any vintage pics that you may have.

Scanned some more this evening, these are from Hot Rod Magazine 1956/57.

And the one that really gets me going, it's from the October 61 issue of HRM but the license plate says 1959 so it must of took them a couple years to get it featured. What a bad ass roadster.

What intrigues me is that "Barnes Stormer" car. Always knew the Nascar and the Drag Strip Y block fame, even including things like Pike's Peak. Never heard of the road race scene... wonder where that car is today. What a gem.
