Here is another link to HULU that will show the episode right up... http://video.tvguide.com/The+Car+Chasers/In+Overdrive+to+Auction/21056288/tvo-534650-season-2-episode-5?autoplay=truethat kid was a punk... should've told the bald fella "That will be $1k more for the mouth of the south" And people wonder why Ford people like us get agitated. That kid drank the Kool-Aid a long time ago.

The good news about the scrub punk is that he sounded so stupid that he actually drew even more favorable attention to the Customline. Schweet car BTW.

Great job! They made an easy quick $5000 on the car, I'm in the wrong place, they all want you to give cars away here in Maine-iac land. Everybody wants them but don't want to give any money, Just look at the auction results in the November Hemmings between the Owls head auctuion and then the one they had in Monterrey CA. A 62 T bird went for $5000 here and a 66 T bird went for $77,500 there. a 62 is a much more desirable model IMHO.

The link works for me. The kid says something like Chevies look better. What do you want to bet that he thought it had a Chevy in it because there was no distributor up front, until Pat says Ford Y Block. Even "Ford guys" get that wrong.

Pat. Just watched the episode. I liked the fact that your part in it was a good five minutes long and the segment was at the start of the episode. It was nice not having to search for a short clip. I’m like Glen in that I’d have loved to had it at that price. I have fond memories of the ’56 Customline Victoria I had early on with a variety of FE’s in it. It was originally a 223 six car with a three speed standard but I started off with a 352" FE and worked my way up to a 427 Tunnelport with a series of 390's and 406's in between. . By my reckoning, you still have 10 minutes of fame coming your way as the show only used up about five minutes of your allotment.

I saw that last night here on the West Coast. That 56 really lit up my imagination. Really nice car. I would have definitely given serious thought to buying that one myself. I tend to like The Car Chasers over the others so far. I was fairly pissed off at the mouthy kid though. They should have edited that out. Never understood why that kind of thing comes up, just alienates viewers who are Ford owners, same with some of the crappy car magazines. Makes no marketing sense.
