I made 2 passes at Expo with my new Lincoln power plant On second pass i smelled oil, and at the turnout noticed oil smoke billowing from #6 zoomie tube.. A check of the cylinder in the pits revealed lots of oil in the cylinder.. Upon pulling the head it was obvious what caused the problem. Upon replacing the gasket I used the Mummert trick of removing the section of the gasket that covers the pushrod chamber in hopes to get a better clamp load.. I also gave the ARP studs an extra dose of torque till they were screaming for mercy We shall see if it holds.. Lincolns are notorious for blowing gaskets
