Well horsefeathers...Backed out of the Cordova race because track did not open till 3 and bands start at 4 dark by 7 long drive for little racing.. Then Jerry and i decided to Go to Cedar Falls Ia to run Fri night and all day Sat.. This track has been friendly to us in the past. But Sat looks like an all day rain event, so I pulled the plug. I still want to get out 1 more time before season is over for good.
Tom Anything coming up at Byron worth attending?

My second and last run was after waiting in the staging lanes for 3 1/2 hours waiting for my turn to run, so I was not focused and I was pissed. I staged just fine thinking to myself how much easier it is to stage with an automatic transmission. The first yellow comes on and I hit the throttle, crap I forgot the trans brake (the stick car doesn't have one of those) and I rolled through the lights. Pissed and flustered I went for it anyway, it was a good run, straight and fast, of course no time on the time slip. All I wanted to do was make a few of runs and look at the front main bearing that I polished the crank with the it in the car. Hopefully I can get back to the track once more this year and try again. The car runs 9:30's at 140 when I don't have a senior moment.

Well the butterfly's are closed, so your foot got the message, good save. Did you get any good runs in? http://www.jasonbphotos.com/ByronDragway2013/September-2013/Test-and-Tune-September-22/32073627_Jb5sCr#!i=2785986082&k=JLCzTZP&lb=1&s=XLNice shot of the grill. Looks great in the sun.

I won't be making it this time, good luck. I was at Byron last Saturday and my car had a good look at the wall but as my head shows in the picture I was still looking down track. http://www.jasonbphotos.com/ByronDragway2013/September-2013/Test-and-Tune-September-22/32073627_Jb5sCr#!i=2785984231&k=85ktV9s&lb=1&s=XL

Royce did you get your motor figured out? what was it if so? or are you running one of your other beauties? Little too far for me unless I have work in the area and then the rental car wouldnt be vintage enough!
