I am so bummed that fox has removed the speed channel, I liked watching Pass time and Pinks all out and stuff like that. I dont care about the other sports unless its playoff time.

I just wrote Fox an email to let them know my concerns. I think anybody else who is not satified with the change should write them also, I want more racing shows and not more football news!

I bummed about this too. I called Direct TV and complained. They also pointed to FOX broadcasting who has supposedly bought out the Speed Channel. BUT, when I did a search for "Stacy David's Gearz" (which was also part of the Speed Channel Line-up), they had a statement saying that something will be coming in the fall. Maybe all the motor-head shows that were dropped by FOX will get a new sponsoring station. We can only hope.

I got an interesting email yesterday. It simply suggests that the best thing we could do to protest the morons at FOX (who think another "ball channel" is a good idea) is to ....... utilize the parental controls on every TV we can find to BLOCK FOX SPORTS.

Seems like a good idea to me - I despise the endless hours of opinions and "commentary" offered by unknown people (who can't or couldn't ever do what they are describing) and this change just promises more of that garbage. The guys hanging at my neighborhood watering hole are more entertaining and talk funny too.

Made me go looking for that function on our TV controls when I got home - the more that this passes around on the automotive sites the better - so pass it on.
