Hi There

Well, here goes.......my user name is Midwest Mike but I'm not really new to the site. However I have been AWOL for about six or seven months and previously was known as Missouri Mike with the tag, "I'd rather be lucky than good, but good ain't bad".

It started about the time the site went to the new format, but that didn't have anything to do with the problem. After having dial up (and unable to get high speed anything) my IT person (wife) got us set up with wireless, which would have been great but the hotspot was on the edge of it's limit.

I was unable to sign in to the site with my old user name and password. Sooooooo I tried to register with a new password, user name and email address but it just wouldn't happen. I tried all kinds of ways to get back to the site using my old pc, a new ipad, laptop and the wife's iphone.

Apparently at some point I pissed off the computer gods cause although I could get to the site occasionally, when I tried to get to the forums I kept getting a page full of error information.

But tonight, after the repeated use of all the known "magical" words in my vocabulary my IT person FINALLY got me reregistered, I know, an 8 to 12 year old could have fixed it but they don't live that close. But I'm back.

HELLO AGAIN Y GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Midwest Mike

AKA Missouri Mike

Ted Eaton could have fixed it, although I think he is older than 12.

Welcome back! The site is really running so much better now that its on a different server. Where in Missouri are you? I came from the Kansas City area but left in the 60's for the Army. Chuck
