Does anyone out there have clear photos of the ashtray and ashtray opening on an original padded dash car? Trying to get info. so a reproduction pad can be made. Thanks.

There is a fellow in Bend, OR that is reproducing dash pads for '56 Fords. Here is the information on him that I have. His name is Tim Holland, this is his web site wwwrhinofabrication.com

I didn't see anything on their site for '56 Fords.

Tim's '56 dash pad is in the prototype stage and he needs a couple of photos of the ashtray area to verify he has it right. If this works out we'll have another USA made, quality part for our cars.

Would you need a dash that was originally made for the padded dash?

Clear photos of the ashtray and ashtray opening on an original padded dash car, with the original pad installed.
