Thanks Carl but this time I wasn't looking for Y parts. This is to replace the Mustang box thats in the roadster. Its shot I believe beyond rebuilding. Chuck
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

The box on my 56 is also going bad so I would like to pick one up to change out this winter. Going straight or turning one direction is fine, turning the other way has a rough spot in it and it doesn't want to return to straight.

You can buy everything to rebuild a steering box so why not just rebuild the one you have Carl

Carl: You say everything is available to rebuild steering boxes..but when I tried to get comprehensive info on parts like worms & sectors for a 57 box a few years ago, all I found was vague information, nothing much definative.
