Yes sad end to an era, even worse i believe we may be getting ford mondeo,s as imports after that? I guess time will tell.

I did get told yesterday from one of the product engineering guys that they will continue after 2016, so at least we'll still have a hand in design & either Broadmeadows or Geelong's factory will be used as the import base, im betting it will be Geelong as the port is right behind the factory & Broadmeadows is miles away from Melbourne's ports. On a personnel note im happy product engineering wont be closing as I would have lost a good chunk of work.
