It was good time up at the NMCA show. First time on the quarter mile. The cars best run was 10.15 @ 126. We were in Open pro bracket. Saturdays qualifying process was a little odd, they would take your best run and shave a tenth off and preset your dial for you. That dial could not be changed. They were trying to force guys to run them out and I think all they got was a bunch of sand bagging. We qualified with a with a 10.31 which preset our dial to 10.21. We got Jack Roush's daughter in the first round (I don't know her name), both lights were .003 she was on the chase and with a double breakout she was .0058 closer than us. As for the coupe we ran our best 1/8th of 6.35 at 106 and change. The strange thing was that car picked a slight miss or surge from 800 - 1100 ft or so according to John H. There were some good headwinds out there at times. Were scratching our heads a little bit, may try some scoop mods or an air filter, check the fuel pump and a few other things.. However it doesn't get much cooler than Pomona its a sweet track to race.
