There was a Auction earlier in the Spring in Toronto Canada.1956 Meteor Sunliner Convertible(56 Ford cousin) sold for $96,600 plus I believe a buyers premium.Almost a $100,000 Y-Block powered car.I thought that was pretty neat. There was only 479 of these produced.

I've always thought these cars should bring more than the scrubs of the same period because their better looking and better powered.

I think even the US Fords should be worth more than scrubs since the Fords are way better like Gary said.

That's chunk of change for the Meteor ....my own personal thoughts on styling was that the Ford had a better look , but that's just me . Meteor is pretty rare because there weren't too many built to begin with and with all the snow/salt up here , the few that were around didn't survive . What would interest me more would be a mid 50's Merc ( M100 ) truck .....also very rare . T

Has anyone got a picture of the convert? I don't think I've ever even seen one.
