Guys:
You're looking for updates, how about one straight from the horse's mouth? Today at noon I left the hospital for home, without all the tubes and probes stuck in my body. My chest aches, and I have pain meds, one of which is Oxycontin. Yikes! In fact, I just took one, so if my typing goes wacky, that's why. Doc says the operation went well. All the nurses said I was progressing very well. The doc was concerned when he made the first incision, said my blood was definately blue in color. When they finally blasted their way to my heart, he said that instead of it being the traditional valentine candy box shape, it was shaped like the letter "Y" on steroids, and across the top was the numbers 15486372. I told him not to worry, it was simply a disease I've had since I was a teenager.
I again want to thank all my Y block friends for their many well wishes and prayers. Some of you I have had the pleasure of shaking your hand and meeting you in person, some I have met on this forum, but I consider all of you my friends. May God bless you all.
