I know of those guys but never met them. I was a 16-17 year old kid at that point and I'm sure they had more important people to talk to. Did get to meet Chuck Stoddard when He dyno'd the later Ace-Bristol that was run at Pelee. Not sure how much good that did, The owner got PASSED by a TR-3 on the straight!! Denise McCluggage was at that race, saw her, didn't get to talk to her. She could drive as well as any man there. Got away from it when I started Drag Racing.

John, I am interested in the phase 1 passenger cars, are you trying to recreate one? Have you found out any production information on them? Randy

Don Antilla in Ct. repos the T'Bird mounting bracket. Fast427@sbcglobal.net. Frank Stubbs, don't have a contact no. in Washington state has reproduced the Air cleaners. I still have a few idler and blower pulley castings. As far as the Stage 1 blower.............good luck! Frank Stubbs phone is 425.228-1012. He's in Newcastle, WA Marc, Thanks, I will touch bases with him. Yeah, it seems that it will take a little doing to get this 55-56 Supercharger set all figured out, the phase 1, well somebody has to have one and they may need some of the F parts we can trade. Regards, John

Old mics, From what I have read, it is not a stacked dual diafram like the 56. Original set ups are so dam rare, and pics are the same, hard to figure it all out !!!!! It has the large diaphram like a 55>> but>> it has a additional boss on the cast part for another vacuum port. That is my best understanding, and the best way I know how to describe it. Perhaps it was from a truck or????? warm regards, John

Pegleg, Thanks for the info and contacts. Yes, the phase 1 VS is a tough find, hopefully I have some other F parts somebody needs, and a extra phase 1. Noticed your posted by Elkhart; as a trivia and historical point, the man that built the futuristic exotic car I have, helped design, was a stock holder, and flagged the Innagurial race at Road America, also had his good friend Harley earl bring some GM concept cars, and also reserved a spot for Gordon Buehrig. Truth be told, and it will be one day, Jim Kimberly, Wacky Arnolt and Ben were the basic builders of the National SCCA. Warm regards, John
