http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aluminum-Two-Row-Add-On-Crank-Pulley-Ford-Y-Block-292-312-Borgeson-/130815343070?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e7533b9de&vxp=mtrBrowsing eBay, I noticed the aluminum two sheave crankshaft pulley for our Y blocks. Anybody out there using this on their Y and can attest to its worth? thanks!

I havn't used this one but John Mummert has one on his site that looks a bit more stock. John has done so much for our favorite engine that I prefer to give him my business when possible. http://www.ford-y-block.com/accessories.htmChuck

I almost used that very pulley, but within days of receiving it I changed my build plans... not the first time I've fell victum to my own impluse buying and/or poor planning. It's well turned, stout, and shiny... I mocked it up, but never installed or used it. If you're interested, I could probably make you a good deal on it... lmk Brian

Chuck, I was more interested in finding out whether or not this company is putting something that is quality... is this the same Borgeson that puts together some of those steering and suspension parts? I never knew they did any thing for the Y block if so.

As far as I know it is the same company. Maybe they made these to go along with their power steering setups for Y-Blocks. At least the price isn't terrible. Chuck

Quite right Chuck. Borgeson shows this part as an accessory in their '52 - '64 Ford power steering conversion. Part # 801150.

I tried to reply to an an automated email from this site... someone from Texas asking about the spare pulley I have like the Ebay one above... but my email reply bounces back as sender unknown... so if you're real site member (not a spammer), dont feel like I'm just ignoring you... I'm apparently compooter challenged... if you're still interested, holla back. Brian

Brian, when I get an automated email it means that I have a private message on this site. Perhaps you already know this but have you checked your "my messages" folder?

Thanks for the follow-up, Mark... the sender had forgotten he changed the email account assigned to this forum... we've since made contact and all is well. Cheers... Brian

I converted the steering in my 1959 Mercury Monterey with 312 using the pulley you asked about. Fits great, works great!
