Does anyone know of a sources for a fairly large metal tray with short sides, something like an oversize baking tray that could be used for solvent cleaning parts or as a drip tray etc?. Have tried several auto parts suppliers with no luck. Only one could supply a plasic one. I even tried a couple of baking equipment companies & got no response. I don't have room for or regular use for a solvent tank or similar. It needs to be about 22"L x 14"W x1" high but could be longer & wider. Thanks

NAPA used to carry aluminum oil drip pans in a couple of different sizes. Have you checked with them?

A 55 gal drum makes a good one, just cut the bottom as deep as you need it.

I use a Blitz brand which is about 2ft x 3ft x 1" high. I think I got it at Advance Autoparts. I didn't notice them the last time I was in there. It stashes easily behind my tool box when not in use.

I bought a plastic pan from my local hardware store that served me well for a long time. It was about 20"x30" and had 6" sides. Of course it was quite difficult to move when loaded! Chuck

I inherited two pans from my wifes folks. They are fairly large and made from a sheet of reasonably thin steel. Corners folded and rivited. I use them under my cars, filled with oil absorbant, as drip pans. Been using them now for a lot of years. Point is if you cant find what you want you can always make it. The corner folding method must be on line somewhere. Chuck

Thanks to everybody that replied. I'll start with NAPA because they are local. I really liked the 18x26 pan by Winco on Amazon.. but it's an over border shipment into Canada, which will likely draw additional brokerage fees, tax & duty.

Paul. you can have the Amazon product shipped directly to your home, but it will take a few days. It is unlikely that you will be charged extra on an item worth about $14.00. There will be no duty only HST (GST + PST after April 1). Alternately you can have the item shipped to Point Roberts WA, where for a fee of about $3.50 a freight forwarder will hold the item for you to pick up. I note that there is free shipping on this item if shipped to a US address. Give me a call and I can tell you more. You have to register with the forwarding outfit in Point Roberts. There are at least 3 outfits located there and border waits are usually minimal.
