John , how close to the cast Iron head is the appearance of your nice alloy one, like if I painted them ?? cost and waiting time plus porting.

Paint them with a high metal content paint so they can pass the "magnet test". You will have everyone fooled then. Chuck

Only a very critical eye could discern the aluminum heads from the iron versions once they are painted. Even the Ford ECZ-G part numbers are under the intake water ports for those that want to verify the part number.

Ted (2/23/2013) Only a very critical eye could discern the aluminum heads from the iron versions once they are painted. Even the Ford ECZ-G part numbers are under the intake water ports for those that want to verify the part number. So they'd be legal for PURE Stock?!!!

Sure they would Frank! As long as you can get them past the magnet test. I doubt if many of the inspectors know about the Mummert heads so I think you could get buy for a while. Another 50HP would be real interesting on your 57. Chuck
