Just ran accross this on EBAY.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-Y-BLOCK-272-292-312-FACTORY-PCV-SETUP-AND-VALLEY-COVER-/281065309057?hash=item4170cc4381&item=281065309057&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr

I would be suprized if this is anything the factory ever did. The way this is setup is seems to be drawing (I'm not sure where the pressure comes from to "draw") from the valley cover to the valley cover. Seems to me there would be nothing to create a flow. Correct me if I'm wrong! (It wouldn't be the first time) Chuck

How do you attach the cover to the engine if you can't use the holes in the cover where someone with an imagination and no intelligence has plugged the hose into?I guess you could Superglue it on.

You have to get the intake on there too. Must be something special. My intakes sit on the front bolt.

Do you think he just stuck the front fitting in the front bolt hole for the picture instead of where its actually supposed to be attached - to the vacuum port on the intake?

That fitting covering the front mounting hole in the valley cover is a brass 45 degree elbow that screws into the intake manifold just in front of a 2 bbl carb used on the trucks, as well, just before the brass fitting and the two hose clamps the steel pcv valve can be seen.

That set up is factory for later trucks with 2 bbl engines, trying to remember if 1961 or 1962's. I think 61 as the pcv valve has a 61 part number.

Thanks MarvH another lesson learned on this site. The picture is misleading but I looked back at the EBAY ad and it does show the brass fitting. I didn't know about the PCV setup on the later trucks. Makes sense though. Chuck

I've tried to pick up one of those set-ups before but the bidding always got crazy. Ended up making my own. My baffle looks almost like the factory one. Seems to work just fine.

I don't know about earlier years, but I'm always on the lookout for those on '63 & '64 trucks. I used the little cannister with the 'tea pot snout' and the pcv valve on the 292 in my Merc. Tapped vacuum off a nipple on a 1" carb spacer. Works great. I have a couple of sets of the tubing if anyone is interested.

If I needed it I would also be contacting the seller to see about the alternator mounting brackets that should have been on that engine. 64 trucks used alternators.
I have no knowledge of this seller or interest in these parts.

I just had a look at the pictures of the valley cover on the ebay site and see the vertical baffle between the two mounting bolts is broken off. You can see whats left of the two tabs on the cover.

I put a similar setup on my father-in-law's 55 Fairlane with the good 292. I also "robbed" the setup from a 60's Ford truck though I cannot remember the year. The teapot snout, the factory metal tube, etc. However, I routed the tube to the carb's manifold vacuum port and put in a PCV valve from a 302 ford... worked very well for me.
