Hello everyone. Browsing online for Y-block info I ran across this intresting site.

I recently bought a '63 F100 with a 292 and a 4 speed. Love the truck and will be in need of a build sooner than later(more blow-by than exhaust pressure), and what a great forum to run across for priceless information.

Anyways, I'll post over in the Technical section for further information. (0=

Jake: welcome here.. on the blow by issue, it might help some if you check the oil filler cap screen. On stock engines that is the only air inlet for the crank case ventilation. The screen is often plugged up so the ventilation isn't working at all. This is a leading cause of sludge build up & contributes to blow by out the bottom..

Thanks guys!

I'll check the screen filter on the oil filler cap, although the engine is burning a lot of oil.

I do though have some interchangeable questions I'll post in the Technical.
