I too had the opportunity to meet up with Andy in Cheyenne Wyoming last year while on the way to Bonneville. Andy was traveling with the Rolling Bones group in the chopped ’34 which he had made from a four door. He left some subtle clues on the car as to its lineage but without the clues, I’d have never guessed. A great job in making a coupe out of what he had. And it’s Y-Block powered to boot. Here’s a couple of pics.

Cool! And there was also '57 Ranchero in one pic, so maybe he will do that next . Long time ago we had a singer here in Finland who had a song where he said: The ones who can, do what ever they want, the ones who can't, they start to teach...

Found a lot of articles with a quick google search. If hes not one of us he needs to be! Chuck Andy Kohler drove his hammered '34 five-window coupe from Buffalo, New York. Andy, who owns Kohler Kustom, built the Y-block-powered coupe from a very rough Fordor sedan body. Photo courtesy of “Hotrod Jen” Skidmore.
He has a website at: http://www.kohlerkustom.com/
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

On page 84 the in the current Hot Rod is a small pic of a '34 Ford coupe owned by Andy Kohlers. It says the car "features a Y-Block and Speed Demon quick-change rear". The article was about vintage car racing on the beach in New Jersey this past summer. Anybody have any details on the owner or car?
