Anyone else having difficulties logging on and loading pages? I have been struggling to use the site for a week or so. Sometimes get on the forum but cannot load the different topics or categories. Same with posting. Tried a couple different computers and it is the same problem. Very frustrating.

Not sure what the purpose of the "Hit Counter" is and why we want to "push the count numbers". Is it to justify having the site? Please 'splain to me, Lucy.

When the site was just getting started Jim was very concious of the number of "hits" we received. We were all watching as the volume of hits increased. The number of hits reflects the success of the site and its placement for search engines. Not to mention if Jim ever wanted to look at paid advertizers. Just a habit I picked up for sites I like.
