Not sure what the purpose of the "Hit Counter" is and why we want to "push the count numbers". Is it to justify having the site? Please 'splain to me, Lucy.

When the site was just getting started Jim was very concious of the number of "hits" we received. We were all watching as the volume of hits increased. The number of hits reflects the success of the site and its placement for search engines. Not to mention if Jim ever wanted to look at paid advertizers. Just a habit I picked up for sites I like. Within the last five minutes it sudddenly got MUCH FASTER!I guess the frozen wire thawed out!

  

Yeah , slow loading here too .....funny thing is , the site started " remembering me " on it's own after months of having to repeatedly log in . I have no idea why it's an automatic log-in now , I didn't do anything different . Maybe I shouldn't have said this

I guess the "much faster" was a 2 minute error.Back to real SLOOOOOOOOOW.If I click to change pages by the third click its almost completely stopped working.

  

It's been working real well for m since Jim rebooted.

Not for me. Site is unusable today. I tried to get on 5 or 6 times to post this. Worse than before.
