If you email me your mailing address, I’ll send you a couple of Demon carburetor idle mixture screws which have been working fine in the Holley carbs.

Crank: Holley 2300s aren't rare, seems to me you should be able to get correct idle screws,without resorting to trying to grind them down. Someone here can probaby point you to the right place..

Hey guys need input
My brass idle mixture screws are a little chewed up so i went to local speed shop DALES in hesperia ca the sold me a pair of the steel cadium coated large head screws p/n 26-101
Turns out they dont fit unless i grind the heads to recess in metering body other then the large head seem the same should i grind em or get the brass style ? Carb is holley 2300
