Yup, Kookie's car on 77 Sunset Strip as I recall. The car and Connie Stevens stick in my mind. They both were hard to forget.

Somewhere I have an old Hot Rod magazine with a feature on Norm's current car at the time, a T touring.  One pic shows him driving with Mamie Van Doren in the passenger seat.  You guys under 60 are probably asking, "who's she".

Yeah , used to watch 77 Sunset Strip every Friday night ...really liked it when Edd Kooky Burns would leap into the drivers seat , shake the shifter and peel out ....I didn't care about the rest of the show

Later on I heard about Norm building and owning the car ....really thought Kooky owned it , for a while .
