Mike: If no response here to your offer, you could contact the Crown Victoria Association, @ P.O. box 6, Bryan OH 43506-0006 or phone 419-636-2475. Someone there might be doing say a 54 restoration, or run a brief low cost Ad in, Y-Block magazine @ P.O. Box 1005 Ottawa IL 61350. 10 cents a word, minimum $3.00.. I hate to see vintage parts scrapped..

Hi Mike,

I live in the bay area of California and don't see how I could swing by to pick it up or even ship it here but, I would ask if you would consider removing and sending a part from your engine.  I would be glad to pay for your time, trouble and shipping.

I have an original 54 239 in a 54 F250 that leaks excessively at the rear main seal.  After tearing it down, I found the seal retainer is distorted at both verticle sides of the retainer.  I have looked everywhere for this part and connot find one.

If your engine is still available and you consider the rquest, I would be extremely greatful, and will able to reassemble my engine and get it back on the road.  I can walk you through how to access this part if needed.

Best regards,

Dennis

Anyone interested in a 239 Y-Block? I pulled out of my 54 several years ago and replaced it with a built 292. It is approximately 80% complete. The timing cover is gone as is the water pump and balancer. No carb. No bell housing. Just mssing parts I stole for the 292. Internally it's complete. Don't want anything for it - just come and get it. I am near Madison, WI

Thanks - Mike
