I just sent this EMAIL on the Y-Block Facebook site. Chuck

Charlie (and everyone else) I've been sending EMAIL and Y-Block updates to Brian Brennan who is a writer for Street Rod. He always seems interested and often replies. I've invited him to Columbus several times but his schedule is too full. Although he's a dyed in the wool California car guy he is a bit of an outlaw. I think if more of us sent him EMAIL with updates on the Y's guys scene he may help prod the magazine in our direction. He was very interested in the EMC engine and its results. I would like to see someone do an in depth article, with pictures, of the forerunners of the Y-Block rebirth. Ted Eaton, John Mummert, Walley, John (hoosier) and more. Also something of Bruce Young who is probably most responsible for our favorite engines current history. Think of all the cars they could feature! Anyone with writing skills please put something together. Write articles about everyone that stands out in our area. Wally, John, John M., Ted, Bruce, Jerry, Tim, etc etc etc. I have found when I was advertizing our local events that you can buy ad space or you can write an article about the upcoming event (with pictures) and send it to the local press. They often use your article because it save them having to write their own. Even as a filler piece in the entertainment section the article would bring results. I'm pretty sure
car magazine would follow suit. Maybe not everytime but enough. By the way I can't write for S(&^ or I would do something myself.
