If one shows up at one of the local yards, I can get it for about $65.00. I'm willing to pay a little more if I don't have to pull it out of the junk yard but to be quite frank, I'm probably not willing to pay the "fair market value" for one but maybe I'm willing to pay a price you're happy with. So if you have one that you want to get rid of give me a price and let's see if we can make a deal.

It must be in good working order so that all I have to do is pull my 3.70 center section, install the 4.11 center section, add oil, and get another 10k of reliable, trouble free service out of it at least. It also must make it to Columbus where I will pick it up. I'm not going to pay for shipping.

I have a Ford 9" 4.56:1 TractionLok 28 spline large bearing center section professionally assembled that I can deliver to Columbus. But Charlie, I am not looking to give it away.

Professionally assembled is a lot different than as is, used. However, it's probably more than I'd want to spend just to find out if it's right or not. I do think 4.56 will be too short. I'm really looking for something cheap just to find the sweet spot. Then I'll have whatever works built.
