I am installing an air conditioning unit on my 55 F100.  It has a 292 Y-Block.  Does anyone know if there was ever a double grooved water pump pulley used and if so on what models.

Heavy duty trucks had them for sure.  They were cast iron.  You may be able to use a pulley off of an FE.  Look for T-birds or Galaxies with A/C.  Good hunting.

In the day, there were quite a few add on pulleys for the Y's for air conditioning, power steering, and the such.

Here’s the link to a past thread showing a picture of a couple of different add-on double groove pulleys for the Y.

I bought this one

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SB-FORD-CHROME-2-GROOVE-WATER-PUMP-PULLEY-65-66-289-302-MUSTANG-HOT-ROD-V8-/261060032827?hash=item3cc863f93b&item=261060032827&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr

Worked great.  It's from a '65-'66 Mustang small block.
