Hope it's not inappropriate, but here's a pic of a nice flat head in my buddies "new" roadster. One of the nicest I've seen. Most of the engine parts are originals not repops.

If it had a scrub than the choice of a Y replacement would be easy. But it would be much harder to replace the Flatty.

Don't know where you live but try to keep those black 1935 CA plates. Don't see them very often. And nice truck that you have attached to the license plates too.



I was looking at a set of 1951 plates with '55 tags and a Clear title (which means I could register them to my '55) at Long Beach Swap Meet. They wanted $650.00 for them. Too rich for me.

Interesting on the plates .. I hope they stay on..Its on non op at the moment, realistically they are no good to me as Im in Australia.. However now know what they could be worth mmm?

Believe me if you can keep those plates it will be unique. California plates stay with the vehicle througout its California life. They were issued, I think, from 1963 till 1969. The Hot Rod rebirth. They have a unique history being on the car/rod they were issued to. Keep them and if nothing else put them on at shows. You will wow the crowd. Chuck
