IIRC: Edelbrock bailed on re-casting the 573 for the Y-Blocks.

He's asking $400 shipped on a supposedly NOS 573. The pics definitely look like it's NOS.
I knew I had seen them with carbs in the 900-1500 range. But you're stuck with those carbs instead of having a choice if you buy just the intake. I never found just the intake being sold.

At $400 for a NOS I would jump on it. As to the manifold/carb setups, you can always sell the carbs as cores (if you don't want that model). 97 cores go for around $100. Many folks (myself included) prefer having the older carbs re-built rather than buying one of the "modern" carbs.
The "new" 97's from Stromberg get pretty good reviews, while the Speedway "94's" not so much.

Good point on the old carbs. I like the fact that this intake is in NOS shape....it looks brand new and that always means a lot to me when rebuilding an engine. Sometimes it's hard to get an old aluminum intake back to looking new. So I think I'll take your advice and buy this one while I have the chance. I just wanted to check first and try not to get hosed. He says he has all hardware and original instructions also.

Here's a pic of it....

Grits, I think your mixing up the Speedway's 9SUPER7's and the Edelbrock 94's. The Edelbrock 94's are pretty good, the Speedway 9SUPER7's are Chinese Junk copies of Stromberg 97's. They even copied the BOXw00t

A 573 isn't the only decent Tri Power intake, but it's likely the most popular to fit 57 & up heads. So, isn't usually available cheap. Check around on e bay or other car sites. Should be able to get a handle on prices.. Or put an Ad in this sites Classifieds & see what comes up..

Was wondering what the going market is on these things. Thinking of going this route on my build.

Saw one for sale that's supposedly NOS and just wanted to see if it was a good deal. Cool
