Frank, yes i was optimistic but the delays with 3rd party and no direct contact due to language was major delay factor. The intake ports look like a 8" drop onto the valve and would flow like nothing else. Chuck, these engine/heads were scarce in their day and over the yrs a few guys in Argentina have restored these racecars and compete in historic sports car races ,same as most countries. At one time an old racer sold off the accumlated parts and they went in a few directions. these heads with swept exhausts were so different to others, the rocker posts are held down by headstuds and are very high. there is another enthusiast with most of that collection, the big timing cover with top mounted mag location, etc and a set of inbetween heads, at least thats what i call them, they have original valve cover rails with 2 hold down studs as normal but have the seperated ports etc. While we all would love a set of any of them, i doubt it as they are so rare and afar. But at least confirms the existance of the so often quoted " 6 prs of aluminum heads were made" myth. Eye candy at its best!! Hope you enjoy it as much as i do.
