Looks like it sold. It was a good deal and I would have gone for it if I had the cashTongue

I'm thinking the engine is a "Thunderbird" engine because of the valve covers.  I guess he could call it a "truck" engine because of the ex manifolds too but it wouldn't sound as good. Tongue

On the other hand Chuck, there are more supposed 32 Fords registered now than were ever built! I believe 32s were only made for about 8 months. It was common practice to use A bodies for rods, often on 32 frames if available. A goodly number of 32s these days are in affect total fabrications. The're affectively U builts, almost nothing original about them. Can't say that about this car!. I don't know what this car is worth, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it go for a pretty good price...

I would like to see some provinance on the car. When was it built, where and by who. If this is a 50's-60's hot rod survivor it might be worth the money BUT if its a newer "retro look" build its way overpriced. No matter what it is not a Duece and never will be. Model A roadsters don't fetch the money unless they have a serious history. Chuck

Y's guys rule!
Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

The Master Cylinder (5/31/2012)

Very cool vintage rod. I think I'm missing something though. The ad says it's a '32 and mentions the original cowl gas tank. I'm under the impression that the cowl tank went out with the Model A in '31. Did the B model in '32 with the 4 banger retain the cowl tank? What's the scoop?

It's a '30 on '32 rails.

Thanks, guess I don't read very well. It was right in the listing and I missed it.
