Hey Chuck!

Here's the link to that distributor cap. You better jump on it before someone else gets itTongue

I got an answer from the valve cover guy.

"THANK YOU CHUCK FOR THE HEADS UP...WIFE WAS LISTING STUFF FOR ME
AND PICKED UP THE WRONG AMOUNT FROM ONE OF THE OTHER LISTINGS..WILL DOUBLE
CHECK ALL MY OTHER LISTINGS, THANKS AGAIN RON"

Now listed for $50 with free shipping.

Hey, I have a blown out tube I use for cutting gaskets, looks almost identical to the AC hose. Should I put it on EPAY? w00t Chuck

I know this is about E bay stupidity. But that would be a neat car to restore. HOWEVER can you imagine how much fun it would be to find decent parts at a reasonable price? Be the worlds first million dollar Edsel!!w00tw00t

Well...you can see that whoever this guy is, he has 0 sales on Epay w00t.  Maybe he is friends with the same guy who is trying to sell a NOS distributor cap for $249.00Tongue

Yeah.....

I have bought and sold a LOT of stuff on EBAY!!

I have found that there's MANY people (suckers) that DO NOT do their home work!!

AND, A lot of these same people will march right down to the local car lot and buy a car at the "sticker" price!!

They think that, because it's on EBAY, IT MUST be a great deal!!

Some years ago, I needed a fuel gage (integrated into the fuel cap) for my little John Deere 318 lawn tractor.

I found a "PLETHORA" of them on Ebay starting at about $15 (+ SHIPPING) up to about $22

Of course that would make them total anywhere from $20-30 or more!!

At the same time, you could mosey on down to your local JD Dealer and buy it right "off the shelf" for about $12 + tax making it about $13-14!! (or buy it from JDparts.com for the same price + the same tax and shipping, OR order it for pickup at the JD dealer of your choice!!!

Caveat Emptor!! (buyer beware!!) Tongue

Rick

They do look pretty straight. But if he found some NOS and had them chromed he really should say so. I'll shoot him a question just to see what he says. w00t Chuck
