Looking for the big cupped washer that goes on the lower control arm bushings on a '57 custom 300, probably the same on a fairlane. Need 2.

Marc, I just swapped out the control arm bushings on my '55 Fairlane. I'm guessing that the washers are the same. I don't know for sure. Also, the '55 ones come with two sized holes depending on which part of the shaft they go. I was going to keep them because they are good for other things but I can spare a couple with the with the 5/8" holes. I'm using the ones with the 3/4 " hole although I assume you could just drill out the smaller ones if necessary. I'm way over in Vancouver B.C. so unless someone closer to you has some I could mail them to you next week. let me know. Mark

Mark,

I'm not sure if they're the same. I know the parts houses like Concours & Mac's show them for '54 - '56 but not '57, so I'm guessing they're different.

I think you are right Marc. Sorry I should of checked the parts catalog before I offered what I have. I just thought "how many different large cupped shaped washers can there be?". It seems that Ford intended the washers to come as part of a bushing/shaft kit for 57 cars.
